I've always thought that Gia was, or is, art. Avid fans know that many photos/portraits of Gia hang in galleries; perhaps the most famous Gia as art photo is hanging at the Staley Wise Gallery in NYC: the fence shot of Gia and Sandy Linter taken by Chris Von Wangenheim. Perhaps the most recent example of Gia as art is Katie Glantz's interpretation of several of Von Wangenheim's photos of Gia. With permission from the artist, I'm posting those pieces here.
